Moscheze is Moscheze
The basic material in this research workshop is the Russian language and its musicality. From scraps of stories and melancholic songs, seven actors imagine an original, polyphonic musical language for theatre. It zooms in on day-to-day aberrations, obsessions, twitches and verbal tics, on little things rarely shown on stage. Thus an imaginary language is invented, comprising songs, words, silences and insane actions. Using the kind of leitmotifs and variations found in jazz, the actors compose and improvise material for the stage.
